In this game, the main character finds himself in a strange place called Hobbsgate, which is filled with creepy and strange creatures. He soon finds out that the reason for his being there is because he is insane. The game starts off with the main character finding a strange book in the library of the asylum. He then starts reading the book, and it starts to tell him about the history of the place. The story is told from the point of view of the main character, and it is not clear what is happening in the other rooms of the asylum.
